In the 1600s, the Ottoman Empire located the Talay family in Bozcaada as one of the first muslim families of the island. We, four of the Talay brothers, took the first step in the realization of our dream, with the
restauration of a forty-five-year-old vineyard house...
We opened Talay Vineyards Guest House, with only four rooms, surrounded by vineyards and with a seaside and vineyard landscape terrace, as an effort to protect, promote and develop Bozcaada, and its
vines. Because Bozcaada would be meaningless without its vineyards, wines and sea.
You too, while having an unforgettable holiday, will be a part of this effort to protect the island's vineyards. We are willing to sustain this culture from one generation to another. We and the next generations of our
mother land will be grateful for your visit…
